Mark Lerner, CLU®, CLTC
After close to two decades of working in the financial services industry, Mark looks back on his personal trajectory and attributes his success to his natural love of people. "I have always been drawn to people. Even as a young person, I chose to go to college outside of Georgia so that I could be exposed to a new community," says the Atlanta native.
His affinity for human connection has served as a solid foundation for a business that is based on helping others. Mark has worked hard to build his practice from the ground up, relying on what he does best: building strong relationships. He is deeply dedicated to his clients and to his family, and believes strongly in the wellbeing of both.
Mark's family is close-knit. Life's unexpected turns over the years have brought them even closer together. "These real world experiences shaped me and how I help my clients," Mark states emphatically. "I am motivated to be sure my clients are taken care of," he adds. Today Mark is a comprehensive financial planner with a specialty focus on tax-sensitive insurance and retirement planning. Mark's personal mission is to ensure that clients do not overlook a suitable protection strategy as part of their overall financial plan, and that their investments are structured using an equally tax-sensitive approach.
Outside of work, Mark is actively involved in the Atlanta community. He donates time to the Jewish Family and Career Services, serves on the Advisory Board of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and is a passionate advocate for lung cancer research.
Mark has obtained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation, a professional designation for individuals who choose to specialize in life insurance and estate planning. He is also certified in long term care planning (CLTC). He is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.
Mark and his wife, Sara, reside in the Buckhead neighborhood with their young daughter and their dog, Baxter. They are members of The Temple congregation in Atlanta.
